Dr. Prriya Eshpuniyani is a Consultant Thoracic Surgeon and Surgical Oncologist affiliated with ACI Cumballa Hill Hospital, Apollo Hospital Navi Mumbai, and various centers across Navi Mumbai. She brings over a decade of experience in advanced cancer and thoracic surgeries.

She completed her General Surgery training in 2006, gaining valuable experience at reputed institutions like KEM Hospital and Tata Memorial Hospital. She went on to pursue a Fellowship in Surgical Oncology from Tata Medical Center, Kolkata, followed by a Super Specialty in Thoracic Surgery (DNB Thoracic Surgery) as part of the first batch in the country at RG Kar Medical College, Kolkata. In addition, she has completed the Fellowship of Advanced Robotic and Innovative Surgery (FARIS) affiliated with Sri Ramachandra Medical College (SRMC), Chennai.

Dr. Eshpuniyani has been extensively trained in Gastrointestinal (GI) Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, and Breast Surgery, and has been practicing these super-specialties since 2011. She joined the prestigious Asian Cancer Institute in 2017, one of India’s leading oncology centers, and has been actively associated with it ever since. She has done a Uniportal VATS fellowship at Shanghai Pulmonary Hospital, Shanghai and is a certified Robotic Surgeon for CMR Versius System. She has also done her FMAS (Fellowship of Minimal Access Surgery) and FAIS (Fellowship of Association of Indian Surgeons. She has also been awarded Membership of National Academy of Medical science (MNAMS).

She has many national and international publications to her name. She has presented at and has been invited as a faculty at more than 50 national and international conferences. She has been an active member in cancer awareness drives and early cancer detection programmes organized by various associations. She is a firm believer in affordable cancer care for all and reaches out to do the best for the patients.

She is a member of Association of Surgeons of India (ASI), Indian Society of Thoracic Surgeons and Trust (ISTST), Indian Association of Cardiothoracic Surgeons (IACTS), Indian Association of Surgical Oncology (IASO) and Indian Society of Oncology (ISO).
